The First Month

It's been a month now and I see myself failing... a huge disappointment. I am falling apart and nothing in my life is going right... wait, just kidding hehe. I'm just being ridonculous. My head is cloudy from sleep deprivation so forgive me. But besides that, I have never been actually happier. My baby turns one month today! Yey!

Sunday Sound Trip: Welcome to the Family

Last night out of nowhere, this song suddenly crossed my mind which was funny because I haven't heard this song in many many years. We used to sing this song in Primary School so it has been almost 30 years... that made me feel really old hehe.

Sunday Sound Trip: Rainbow

This Sunday's sound tripping is of Demi's version of Rainbow by Sia. This was recorded the same night that Daisy sang A Million Dreams with the same half hearted deportment because mommy was invading "me" time hehe.

These are the songs that I only learned about from my girls. I love Sia, but even before I found out this was her song, I already loved it. Rainbow was used in one of the episodes from My Little Pony wherein they made a pony version of Sia herself. My girls knew the details better hehe.

OC For Mufti Day

Gone are the days when I and my husband decide what the girls wear. For years we have always bought then twin clothes and people assumed they were twins. It was convenient buying same clothes in pairs because Daisy was always upredictable back then. She'd want what her Ate wears. Twin clothes had saved us from countless sibling bickerings.

Now that they're growing up, each girl is gradually taking her own preference. Daisy is more into chic dresses and skirts while Demi prefers the casual sporty look.

A Look Back At Our Summer 2017-2018

The days are getting shorter and the temperature is getting colder. It's that time of the year again. Winter is definitely just around the corner.

Autumn had been a bit low-key this year. Most days it felt like it was just an extension of those cool summer days. Other days it actually felt as if it was still summer. That's how I felt anyway. I often felt warmer than my usual autumn feels but it might be because I was pregnant.

Summer had been a good one. We were able to take the kids to a number of beach spots this time around. Soon as summer hit from the start of December 2017 up until school holidays ended we tried to go whenever there was chance. This was to compensate for last year's summer vacation. We rarely had the chance to take the kids somewhere because of my busy schedule. By the time I took them to Umina Beach in May, it was already too cold. And of course, we're not so sure if we'll get the chance to travel often again after the baby's arrival so I wanted the kids to have as much fun and happy memories now.

Here's a few of the finest beaches in NSW.

Sunday Sound Trip: A Million Dreams

I first heard this song from my daugter, Daisy. It is a very nice uplifting song with great lyrics suitable for blooming minds and hearts of today's young generation. One night, I disturbed the girls on one of their "me time" so I could record her singing this. This my daughter Daisy's rendition of the song. It was almost perfect, despite the fact that she was singing half-heartedly. That, plus she forgot to sing the very last line and the cheeky "happy?" at the end hehehe...
Please welcome, Daisy Jenn! :)
